I live a slow carb life.  I’m not a health fanatic or a fitness guru. I’m just a mum of two young children with a wonderful family whom I want to stay happy and healthy for. I want to live feeling fit and healthy with no hassles about what diet I should do or what gym I should be going to. Living the slow carb life is a simple way to feeling good with little effort.

It’s a well known fact that white foods such as pasta, bread, rice and flour are not good for the waist line. The good news is here’s great alternatives that give you tasty meals. You’d be surprised at how easy it is, even when eating out.

The balance of a healthy life style is eating well and keeping fit so I do a bit of running. Some mornings (when I remember) I do some sit ups and stretching but mainly for 6 days a week I cut out the carbs from all my meals. But don’t panic. On the 7th day I eat as many or whatever carbs I like. In fact the best thing to do is satisfy all those cravings and fill up on your carbs in one day. It really make you appreciate them more and also after a few weeks you don’t actually miss them that much. I use Sunday as my carb day so I can have a fill on roast potatoes and bread plus it’s nice to have treats at the end of the week.

So my blog will give you tips on how to manage a slow carb life with delicious recipes I have found made up and enjoyed.
